The story
fullfraction was born from frustration. Zak Nason, co-founder of Fundably, spent years helping early-stage and growing companies secure debt financing. Over and over, the same problem surfaced: companies needed senior finance expertise - but they couldn't afford a full-time CFO.
They'd turn to recruitment platforms and staffing agencies. And they'd hit a wall: hidden placement fees, unvetted candidates, slow sourcing, and inflated costs. The market was broken.
Meanwhile, experienced CFOs wanted fractional work, but had no good way to find quality clients or avoid the grind of constant pitching and business development.
So Zak decided to build something different. A platform that's completely free for companies. Where every CFO is hand-vetted. Where matching is fast. Where there are no fees, no commissions, and no catch.
fullfraction doesn't charge companies anything. We make money only when we refer matched companies to Fundably's debt financing services - a completely separate relationship. This alignment means we care about making the right match, not just filling a slot.
